Product Update

Production: May 13, 2024​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: May 08, 2024
  • Production: May 13, 2024
  • Availability: All customers

Entitlements​

An enhancement to Entitlements administration provides users with a message banner informing them that they have reached their entitlements or subscription end date. This banner replaces a red error message that was previously displayed.

Storyboard Pagination​

Tenovos Story Boards now supports pagination in the UI. Previously, users were limited to viewing the top 50 recently created storyboards. Users can now browse all storyboards, including those positioned outside of the top 50.

Subtractive Search Filters​

Users can now select multiple values as subtractive search filters per attribute. Previously, users could only select one value as a subtractive search filter per attribute.

Content Renditions​

  • As part of overall performance improvements, For Placement Only (FPO) renditions will only be generated for those customers requiring FPO renditions. This configuration will be managed via our Customer Success team.
  • When sharing an asset externally, the imagePreview rendition will now be used instead of the smaller sharePreview rendition. This removes the sharePreview rendition and leverages a higher quality rendition instead.
  • Content rendition used for AI tagging has been replaced with a different rendition in order to improve performance by decreasing rendition processing time.

AWS Region support​

Tenovos now supports a variety of new AWS regions for customers outside of the United States.

Other Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where files larger than 5GB could not be uploaded to S3 buckets outside of US-East-1 Region.
  • Resolved an issue where the Cart would not load due to assets in the Cart containing large amounts of technical metadata.
  • Resolved an issue where, when using search relevancy, removing a term from the search bar would not return the correct search results.
  • Resolved an issue where the search condition (AND/OR) of a saved search was not being respected when the saved search was used in a story block.
  • Resolved an issue where the targeted search selection of a saved search was not being respected when the saved search was used in a story block.
  • Resolved an issue where search relevancy was considering matches in "Text Content" more relevant than matches in "Metadata".
  • Resolved an issue where attribute values in a cascade mapping were not displaying in alphabetical order during upload and metadata edit.
  • Resolved an issue where the search term used in a saved search was not being shown in the search bar after navigating to that saved search from a brand tile.
  • Resolved an issue where transforming an MP4 file to a WMV file would fail.
  • Resolved an issue where a private collection could be viewed directly by accessing the collection url.
  • Resolved an issue where assets would not load in a collection due to the size of file contents and technical metadata.
  • Resolved an issue where passing an invalid metadata attribute value ID through the Tenovos API during asset upload or metadata edit would return a 200 success code.
  • Resolved an issue where users were not being notified of missing required fields during the Bulk Operations validation stage when performing an upload.
  • Stability and performance improvements were made to Bulk Operations.
